To become a member of the Arlington Optimist Club, you need to express your interest by attending a lunch and completing an application to be submitted to the Optimist Club Board of Directors for review. A one-time application fee of $45.00 is required. There are many types of membership, but the initial membership is called Active Member. Active Members pay quarterly dues of $110.00 which includes three luncheons. If an Active Member attends more than three luncheons in the preceding quarter, the dues are adjusted at $25.00 per lunch in excess of three.
Dues to Optimist International are included in the quarterly assessment. The dues also help to fund operating expenses such as membership building, the speakers program, publicity, and other administrative expenses. Income raised from fund raising activities such as Christmas tree sales and other programs are directly applied to the youth programs. If you would like additional information about the Arlington Optimist Club or would like to attend a lunch meeting, please send an email to: email@example.com or call 571-969-4084.
